Security operatives in Niger State have recovered a herd of stolen livestock and arrested two men accused of rustling animals from a Fulani settlement in Shiroro Local Government Area. The incident occurred after the owner of the animals, Hassan Usman from Navi Fulani Camp near Gwada, spotted his missing cows and sheep with two individuals around 1pm, on Wednesday morning. Passengers traveling from Kaduna to Abuja were left stranded on Thursday after their train broke down not long after departure. The train left Kaduna a few minutes past 2 p.m. but developed a fault about an hour into the journey and was forced to return to Kaduna.
