BREAKING: PDP expels Wike, Fayose, Anyanwu

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expelled the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, its suspended National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu, and former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose.

Their expulsion was announced on Saturday at the party’s national convention in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

DAILY POST reports that the convention is taking place on November 15 and 16.

The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa, has reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to achieving 95% digital literacy across Nigeria by the year 2030, with an ambitious milestone of 70% by 2027. The former Owerri Municipal Council Chairman, Chukwuemeka Ebere, popularly known as ABJ, has officially renounced his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, following his recent defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC. He said that his decision to leave PDP was because of the leadership crisis rocking the party both at the state and national levels.
