Court of Appeal Constitutes Election Petition Tribunal for Kano, Jigawa By-Elections

The Court of Appeal has constituted an Election Petition Tribunal for the upcoming by-elections in Kano and Jigawa States, scheduled to be held on September 16, 2025.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Secretary of the Election Petition Tribunal and issued to newsmen in Dutse.

According to the statement, “The general public is hereby notified that an Election Petition Tribunal has been constituted in Kano State for Kano and Jigawa States by the Honourable President of the Court of Appeal of Nigeria.”

The statement explained that the Tribunal will hear and determine petitions arising from the by-elections slated for September 16, 2025, in the two states.

The National and State Houses of Assembly Tribunal will sit at Court No. 18, High Court Complex, Miller Road, Kano, Kano State.

The public is advised to direct further enquiries to the Registry of the Election Petition Tribunal.
