Transfer: Ndidi in shock move to Bundesliga

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is set for a surprise move to the Bundesliga.

According to Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, the Nigeria international has received interest from clubs in the German top flight.

Plettenberg disclosed this in a post on his X account on Monday.

“Wilfred #Ndidi has also received requests from Bundesliga clubs,” Plettenberg tweeted.
“A summer transfer is possible for the 28 years old defensive midfielder from Leicester. Price valuation: €15 million. One to watch.”

Ndidi joined Leicester from Belgian club Genk for €17 million in 2017.

The 29-year-old Super Eagles star has also attracted interest from Manchester United, Juventus, Everton, and clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Ndidi is reportedly available for a €9 million release clause following the Foxes’ relegation from the English Premier League last season.
