Kylian Mbappé reveals why he didn’t win Champions League with PSG

Real Madrid superstar, Kylian Mbappe, has revealed why he did not win the UEFA Champions League with PSG.

The player has been the worst hit since after PSG’s successful season which saw them, above every other things, claimed the UEFA Champions League.

Mbappe, 26, left Les Parisians after seven years and is currently their highest goalscorer in history with 256 goals.

Mbappe spoke to the press before their 2-0 win over Germany in the UEFA Nations League third-place playoff on Sunday, blaming fate for the club’s failure to win the Champions League while he was with them.

Mbappe said it was over for him at the French capital city, saying he had to move on .

He told RMC Sport, “Did I leave too soon? No. My story was over, it had to end. There was no bitterness, I’d reached the end of the road.

“I would have tried anything. It’s just fate that it had to happen without me.”

Fans and pundits, including the top hierarchy of Paris Saint-Germain have been throwing words at the player after the won the Champions League without him.

PSG beat Inter Milan 5-0 in an unthinkable fashion to win the Champions League trophy last season, a year after Mbappe joined Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich beat PSG in the final of the competition in 2020 with Mbappe in the team.
