NNL holds monthly award ceremony in Abuja

The monthly award ceremony of the Nigeria National League, NNL will be held in Abuja on Tuesday.

The event is scheduled to take place at the West Point Hotel, Zone 7, Wuse.

The award categories include Best Behaved Team of the Month, Best Coach, Best Goalkeeper, Highest Goal Scorer, Best Goal, Best Referee, and Most Valuable Player.

According to NNL, the award is put together to recognise and encourage excellence across various categories in Nigeria’s second-tier league.

Former chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Sani Lulu, and ex-international Tijani Babangida, now serving as the President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, PFAN, are expected to grace the occasion.

The initiative, launched in December 2024, has gained traction for spotlighting talent and professionalism within the league.
