Presentation of 2025 Appropriation Bill to Ogun Assembly postponed

The presentation of the Ogun State 2025 Appropriation Bill to the State House of Assembly by Governor Dapo Abiodun has been postponed to a later date.

DAILY POST reports that the presentation was earlier scheduled for Friday, 29th November 2024.

The postponement was stated in a release signed by the clerk and head of Legislative Service, Sakiru Adebakin, on Thursday.

According to Adebakin, the new date for the presentation of the annual budget would be announced later.

The clerk said the Ogun State Assembly regretted the inconveniencies arising from the postponement.

Liverpool’s talisman Mohamed Salah has moved up to seventh in the Premier League’s all-time goalscoring charts. Salah scored in the 35th minute of their 4-1 win over Ipswich Town at Anfield on Saturday. The 32-year-old has been in inspired form for Arne Slot’s table-topping side this season. Salah netted his 176th goal in the division and has now moved clear of Thierry Henry (175) and one behind Chelsea legend Frank Lampard (177). Nigerian military, Briech launch locally made bombs, attack drones

At the unveiling and demonstration of the first set of locally manufactured attack drones, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, said it was a major landmark in the nation’s journey towards self reliance in defense technology and a significant step in strengthening national security capabilities.
