The remark comes after Manchester United suffered a 0-1 loss to Arsenal at Old Trafford, a result that further compounded their poor form after last season’s struggles in the English Premier League. DAILY POST reports that the Red Devils had been expected to perform better than their 15th-place finish from last season. However, in a post on X, Aja drew parallels between the football club and Nigeria’s state-owned oil company, citing legacy challenges and poor performance. “Manchester United is like NNPC Ltd: legacy assets, huge debt overhang, questionable leadership, no assets works, can’t deliver on strategic goals,” he wrote.
